Coherent Mira 900P is a Pico-sec pulsed Ti:Sapphire laser system. It capable of generating 700nm – 1000nm 3ps pulses mode-locked at ~80MHz repetition rate.
This laser is being used in our lab to deposit energy into devices and explore their behavior on pico-second time intervals.
The use of high-speed, short-pulse lasers over the last decade has enabled an ever-growing understanding of fundamental processes in chemistry, physics and biology.
Today, the study of such ultra-fast phenomena is enhanced by the performance properties of the Mira family of modelocked lasers.
