Montana Cryostation Fusion F2 S100

Montana cryostation Fusion F2Montana chamber and LLC holder

As we are studying superconductivity in our lab, we need to have some of the devices cooled down to cryogenic temperatures. We have 2 cryostations in our labs, both can cool down to 3.2K and computer controlled so the user can determine a specific target temperature – and the cryostat will maintain this temperature at about 10mK stability.
The chamber has 25 thermal lagged electrical feedthroughs, and 5 wide windows made of Fused-Silica which enable 400nm – 1000nm light to penetrate in and out.

PERFORMANCE BENEFITS

  • Low thermal fluctuations and nanometer level vibrations provide a stable measurement environment
  • Wide temperature ranges with fast cooldowns make the instrument more productive
  • Closed-cycle operation means no helium is consumed, so users avoid the high costs, uncertain supply, and challenging operation associated with liquid cryogens

USABILITY BENEFITS

  • Straightforward user interface and fully-automated control system increases experimental efficiency
  • Incredible sample, electrical, and optical access provides total experiment flexibility
  • Fully-integrated, turn-key design gets you up and running quickly with minimal effort
  • Tabletop design integrates into existing setups and can be moved easily

100-class: Optimized Space Design

The 100-class chambers offer a volume optimized solution with a larger working space design to provide room for additional equipment, such as multiple piezo stacks, while still offering high levels of performance. The flexible sample space incorporates a modular cold circuit board to solve many of the common challenges related to the sensitivity of wiring on cryogenic performance. Pre-lagged wiring, quick-click side connectors, flexible circuits, and interchangeable platform interfacing “wedges” make the system more robust, customizable, and simple to setup.
