Andor iDus camera

Andor iDUS InGaAs PDA DU490A

Andor iDUS 490A camera

The USB 2.0-based iDus series is a compact, yet feature-rich platform suitable for
demanding spectroscopy applications such as low-light UV/NIR Photoluminence
or Raman spectroscopy, as well as day-to-day routine laboratory operation and
integration into industry-grade systems.
The iDus boasts market-leading deep thermo-electric cooling to -100°C,
complemented by Andor’s Ultravac™ technology with its un-matched reliability
track record in the scientifc and industrial community. The iDus low-noise electronics
allows seamless access to the best signal-to-noise ratio performance for the widest
range of photon detection regimes.
Andor’s new iDus 416 platform boasts a unique combination of very low dark noise
and very high QE, offering unrivalled sensitivity in the near-infrared. This makes it the
ideal detector for NIR Raman and Photoluminescence, reducing greatly acquisition
times and removing the need for inconvenient LN2 cooling. It also boasts a 30 mm
wide sensor, allowing it to simultaneously capture up to 10% more signal than
traditional spectroscopy sensors.
Specifications:

• Peak QE of 95%
• TE cooling to -100°C
• UltraVac™ – guaranteed hermetic vacuum seal technology
• Fringe suppression technology as standard for back-thinned option
• NIR-optimized Low Dark Current Deep-Depletion (LDC-DD) sensor option
• 15 μm and 26 m pixel size options
• USB 2.0 plug and play connectivity
• 16-bit digitization
